77 Years and Counting!
The Trinity Radio Club is proud to announce the start of its 78th year of broadcasting the Great News of Jesus Christ to the world! And we literally mean the world! Our live stream has the ability to reach people in the far reaches of our Earth. Our radio broadcast reaches as far north as St. Cloud. As far south as northern Iowa. West into the Dakotas and east into Wisconsin. We are truly living the Great Commission, teaching all nations of God and His Son Jesus.
In early March of 1948, a small group of people at Trinity got together and discussed how we could utilize this new radio station that came into town, KDHL, AM 920. In a very short amount of time, decisions were made and equipment purchased to start broadcasting on KDHL. Our first broadcast was April 25, 1948. In our 78 year history, we have broadcast over 5,000 services on KDHL. We look forward to the next 5,000 over the years to come!
Below is a copy of an original form used by the Radio Club to solicit funds to sponsor the early broadcasts. Since 1948, the Radio Club has been totally independent of the church in regards to funding the mission. It is due to the generosity of our listeners and viewers that keep our services on the air.
